I had no idea I would fall in love with making     special meals for people and creating unforgettable memories for them.  This has become my passion in life.

Humble Beginnings very much describes my life and journey into the culinary arts. I grew up in the richness of diverse communities in the U.S. and that gave me the opportunity to experience a wide range of cuisines and cultures. 

From Mexican cookouts, Asian (Thai, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Chinese) family meals and banquets, to my family’s American Southern comfort foods, this diversity was a driving source of inspiration in an otherwise harsh world.  Food was the  common connection and a source of happiness.

My passion for food led me to study the culinary arts in Seattle. After working in renown restaurants and learning from chefs like David Chang, Gordon Ramsey, and Rachel Yang, I traveled throughout Europe and other parts of the World, expanding my palate and narrowing my focus. With the craft of upscale cuisine from around the World combined with the comforts of family style meals, Humble Beginnings is here to create unforgettable memories for you.
